RangeTech Age Suitability
Age Rating: 4+
RangeTech is a companion application for compatible shot timer devices. The app is appropriate for all ages and contains no objectionable content.
What RangeTech Does
RangeTech connects to a compatible shot timer device via Bluetooth and provides:
- Display of shot timer data (elapsed time, shot count, split times)
- Interface to adjust timer settings and configurations
- Data review and analysis of recorded shooting sessions
The app is non-functional without a compatible shot timer device.
Age Appropriateness
RangeTech has been rated 4+ because:
- No graphic content: The app displays only numerical data and timer controls. It contains no images of firearms, violence, or any other potentially objectionable imagery.
- Youth shooting sports: Shot timers are widely used in youth shooting sports programs around the world, including IPSC junior divisions and Olympic shooting disciplines where young athletes train and compete.
- Technical tool: RangeTech is purely a technical interface for timer hardware, similar to apps that connect to fitness trackers, stopwatches, or other athletic training equipment.
